Powerhouse Dynamics Receives Broad Recognition

Boston, MA, January 31, 2018 The announcement on January 22nd by the Cleantech Group that Powerhouse Dynamics, creator of the SiteSage® enterprise asset and energy management system, has been named to the prestigious  2018 Global Cleantech 100 marked the third time this month that the Company was recognized for its accomplishments.  These accomplishments cover a set of very diverse areas.

The first acknowledgment was an IoT Breakthrough award from IoT Breakthrough announced on January 4. The IoT Breakthrough Awards recognize the top companies and products in the Internet of Things industry today. The mission of the IoT Breakthrough Awards is to honor excellence and recognize the creativity, hard work and success of IoT companies, technologies, and products. IoT Breakthrough winners receive well-deserved recognition and third-party validation from an independent organization.  Powerhouse Dynamics was honored for its work in providing an IoT platform that connects manufacturers, their equipment, and their commercial customers with a complete solution that addresses the specific needs of both the OEMs and the equipment users.  Powerhouse Dynamics was in very good company with this award, with other winners including Intel, Dell, Verizon, Phillips, and Bosch.

The next acknowledgment came from independent research firm Verdantix on January 8, who named Powerhouse Dynamics as an “Innovator”. Verdantix analyzed the 14 strongest providers in the global market for facility optimization software to publish the report “Green Quadrant Facility Optimization Software”. The analysis involved comparing software applications based on 11 live product demonstrations, responses to a 135-point questionnaire about the products, and interviews with 14 corporations across seven industries who have already bought or are actively looking to invest in facility optimization software. Based on the proprietary Verdantix Green Quadrant methodology, this is the only independent benchmark of facility optimization software available on the market today.

The third acknowledgment, as noted above, came from the Cleantech Group.  Powerhouse Dynamics’ inclusion in the 2018 Global Cleantech 100 was revealed on January 22nd at the 16th annual Cleantech Forum San Francisco. The Global Cleantech 100 is a comprehensive list of private companies with the highest potential today to make significant market impact within a 5-10-year timeframe. To qualify for the list, companies must be independent, for-profit, cleantech companies that are not listed on any major stock exchange.

This list is collated by combining proprietary CTG research data with weighted qualitative judgments from hundreds of nominations, and specific inputs from a global 86-person Expert Panel. The panel is drawn from leading financial investors and representatives of multi-national corporations and industrials active in technology and innovation scouting across Asia, Europe, and North America.

Powerhouse Dynamics CEO Martin Flusberg stated “we are excited – and humbled – by the recognition we have received over the past several weeks alone.  This recognition comes from well-known and prestigious organizations and covers a broad range of disciplines, from facility management to sustainability to Internet of Things.  This is a testament to the power and breath of our flagship SiteSage platform, and we are delighted that news of the power of this platform is clearly being disseminated”.
